The Whittlesea Ranges Football Club's flagship junior tournament held this year on the 3rd – 4th October 2026. 

Designed for Boys aged Under 8 through Under 13, the Whittlesea Cup combines competitive football, player development and a strong community festival atmosphere — perfect for families, clubs and young players alike.

Tournament format & pathways

We’ve organised age-appropriate formats across U8 – U13. The competition will be run in two divisions to keep games competitive and player centric: Copa (Kangaroos level) and LIGA (Wallaby/Joeys level). 

Age groups will be played on the following days:

Saturday 3rd Oct:  U8 - U10 - U12

Sunday 4th Oct:  U9 - U11 - U13

A return with history and heart

The Whittlesea Cup has been absent for the last few years due to COVID disruptions, but returns with renewed energy and a commitment to grassroots football. Whittlesea Ranges FC itself grew from the proud local traditions of clubs including the Thomastown Devils, T.E.L. Soccer Club, Thomastown Raiders and Whittlesea Stallions — clubs with deep local roots that came together to build stronger opportunities for players across our region. That history, and our home at Epping, is central to the Cup’s identity.

Community, development, celebration

The Whittlesea Cup is more than results — it’s a celebration of effort, teamwork and community. Presentations will be held post games and on-site information for is available for parents and clubs.
